Theme ' Glasses' Frames
The most important function of glasses is e to assist the faculties of peoplefs eyesf. Therefore people with fine and healthy eyes do not need them. Although this is a design competition, the meaning of edesignf here is almost infinite. We ask you to present archetypical designs without conscious and decorative elements for the frames of glasses, which are made possible by highly technological skills.
The theme of this competition is to seek for the forms ofe the glasses for the people who cannot do without themf based on the concept that ethe best is, after all, not to wear glassesf. This means that the designs sought for here should be the ones that give youe the lightness of wearing nothingf, ethe strength that doesnft bother your consciousnessf, ethe small size that occupies the least space of your facef and e the feeling of wearing nothing even if you are wearing them.f
We are not expecting designs for just design forms but excellent suggestions beyond conventional concepts of glassesf frames with e the details e that include widely ranged factors from the material for them to the technology used for their hinges.f This doesnft mean, of course, the presented works can be unrealistic ones in the world of science fictions. They have to be realistic in that they can be actually produced and sold within the materials and technologies available in the present time and in the near future. No matter how innovative the idea may be, if it seems to be impossible for it to be realized because of the cost or the technology required for it, it will have to be discarded.
In short, we are expecting the designs of glassesf frames as excellent tools that are archetypical as well as natural that allow you to feel wearing nothing even if you are, because of their natural fitness to your face.

The range of used technologies and skills:
Therefs no designation concerning them.
*We may, however, discard such ideas as econtact lensesf, ethe concept to regard lenses themselves as their framesf.
