I: This proposed design adjusts the ozone concentration of the room and sterilizes the air. It is a function that is unfamiliar to most and cannot be seen by the naked eye. But the clear manner of expression allows one to understand it intuitively.
S: The attractiveness of the form adds persuasive force to the proposed idea.
There was somewhat of a lack of reality in using this design as a unit. I would like to have seen more ingenuity in showing how it appears when used as a group or as an interlocked structure.
Title : luminous umbrella

I: The proposed design not only offers visibility in the rain, as can be easily imagined by anyone, but also allows one to brighten the dark, bleakness of the rainy streets. The simple strength of the idea which evokes a sense of hope and possibility allows us to easily identify with it.
S: The idea embodies kindness and consideration.
If the form were designed in a way that is different from that of regular umbrellas, the proposal could be even more convincing.
Title : WATER ELECTROLYZER

I: The idea makes use of the easy manageability and safe nature of electrolyzed water. It presents, with clarity, one of the ways in which technology can be used by man. I would like to have seen more effort toward communicating the clarity of the concept through its design.
S: I believe the attraction of this design is in the simplicity of the idea behind it. If such simplicity and the clean, fresh nature of water were attractively expressed in the design, I believe it would have created an even stronger and clearer message that would strikes a chord in many people.

I: A decade ago, the idea of having a “clean room” in a regular home only existed in the world of science fiction. But now, it has become a real possibility.
S: Combining new technology with a classical idea of a mosquito net has successfully allowed for deeper understanding of the concept.
I believe that by presenting scenes for using this idea that conjures up richer, more positive images of everyday living situation, the idea would become even more attractive.
