| International Competition for Silent CM 'SAPPORO'

The result and general comment
The judgement for gSilent CM for [SAPPORO] competitionhwas done in Sapporo and 2 second grand-prix awards and 3 selecting awards were determined by Mr.Hiroyuki Nakano, the judge.
About the grand-prix, Mr. Nakano judged gnothing arrived at the quality that was able to be played when we call it as CM of 30 seconds.hAnd after all, there is no prize winner correspondence for the grand-prix.
In addition, we set newly eselecting awardsf for 3 works that Mr. Nakano evaluated gthey include the element that passes on the charm of Sapporo and informationhand also on the assumption of adding them to the list of the remix version CM image for gJR train channel.h
gThey cannot be said they are high when thinking them to be CM as the overall level of the submitting works though there are originalities for each work. However, 2 works awarded second grand-prix include the element of "Silent CM" proposed as new genre this time. Though I think that the contents choice and the mode of expression were difficult because it is an image suggestion of an unexampled genre, I expect an increase of the number of participation and the development at the period. h

gDream Landersh:
It is comprehensible in the composition over the four seasons with the background of the sightseeing spot of Sapporo. The Clay animation is made good use of, and the perfection as the work is also high.
gExperience of Sapporoh:
Expectations to the person who sees are woken up by the image by the motion graphic. Moreover, the message to tell "Sapporo" is contained, and the quality of the image is high.
About being played on JR train channel:
The remix version based on these 5 works above that Mr. Nakano edit would be played on JR yamanote line in Tokyo from Nov.14 to Nov.27 in 2005.

When the work was made, it was able to know a lot of things of Sapporo by this competition. There were really wonderful a lot of places and foods and I wanted to visit once by all means. However, was my taste able to be put out very happily in short time of 30 seconds, and really difficult work of Sapporo where a lot of attractive elements were included. It produced in the desire that it wanted to make the clay characters who had to love putting out a transformation and a handmade feeling that was the feature of the clay animated cartoon enjoy Sapporo. When the person who saw this CM is interested in Sapporo even a little, it is happy. |

¥COMMENT OF THE APPLICANT:
When we experience something great we feel exciting and our heart beat become stronger and faster. Today people can see pictures from all around world but experience is something what you canft see or read about it, you have to live it.
¥CONCEPT:
The main idea is to express excitement of visiting Sapporo. I accomplished that by showing human heart beat in different ways.
1. At the beginning of movie you can see moving of small red circle as heart beat diagram E C G (electrocardiogram).
2. Then the symbol of heart start beating and heart is changing into red circle. Red circle is also ebeatingf. Now we see Japan flag. This is metaphor for experience of Japan. As red circle become smaller, the letters S-A-P-P-R-O came from background and together they create word Sapporo. Red circle is ebeatingf. This is metaphor for experience of Sapporo.

I thought about a thing to be able to consider a wide generation to be nature without sense of incongruity.There is not it as an impact greatly without using graphic this time, but, as for the simple thing, it is got close to a wide generation in catchy animal and dear thing / nature as there is many it, and it is supposed by a commercial or an advertisement,In addition, I thought whether I cannot watch it relaxedly in a situation bottom of "silent".I warned soft color messengers to be able to watch a collection of diary and photographs / a book of verse for the sense that I read. |

Our interest and imagination increase when we cannot see it. It is natural that we try to know what we cannot see. I hid the half of Sapporo in the screen for that reason. The peaple who watch this advertisement will become interested in Sapporo which is hidden. As a result of this, it is no wonder that they feel they want to know and see Sapporo and take action to know it.
